Same Purpose. A Different Experience.
Muscle Butter Lite was created for people who want the Muscle Butter experience without the essential-oil blend.
It keeps the rich botanical foundation and Kombo-centered identity of the original while leaving out lavender, cedarwood, and jasmine essential oils.
What remains is a concentrated botanical butter designed for daily massage of hardworking muscles and joints, as well as intentional post-activity care.
Warm a little between your hands.
Massage it into the areas that worked hardest.
Let the routine be simple.
No essential oils. Same Muscle Butter purpose.
Kombo Butter: The Heart of Muscle Butter Lite
At the center of both Muscle Butter and Muscle Butter Lite is our signature Kombo butter.
Derived from the seeds of the Pycnanthus angolensis tree, native to West and Central Africa, Kombo butter has a long history of use in topical preparations and massage traditions.
Its naturally deep color, earthy botanical aroma, and distinctive fatty-acid profile—including naturally occurring myristoleic acid—give it a character unlike more familiar plant butters.
In Muscle Butter Lite, Kombo is blended with shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil, jojoba oil, apricot kernel oil, and vitamin E to create a rich, massage-friendly formula for hardworking muscles and the areas around active joints.
Kombo remains at the heart of the Muscle Butter experience.
Made for Sore Muscles & Hardworking Joints
An active lifestyle looks different for everyone.
For one person, it might mean lifting weights before work.
For another, it might mean walking all day on the job.
It can mean hiking, gardening, traveling, chasing kids, standing behind a counter, coaching, stretching, dancing, or simply being on your feet from morning until night.
Muscle Butter Lite fits into all of it.
Use it after:
- Workouts
- Walking or hiking
- Gardening
- Physically demanding work
- Long periods of standing
- Travel
- Stretching or mobility work
- Recreational activity
- A warm shower or bath
- A long, active day
You do not need to be an athlete to have hardworking muscles.
From Activity to Rest
Muscle Butter Lite fits naturally into the transition from movement into rest, creating a comforting massage ritual for sore or overworked muscles and joints.
After activity, take a few minutes to notice which areas worked hardest.
Warm a small amount between your palms and massage it slowly into those areas.
Let the warmth, texture, and repetition of the motion become part of the wind-down.
After a workout. Before bed. At the end of a long shift. Or simply after a demanding day.
Body care does not have to be complicated to feel restorative.
Lite Means No Essential Oils — Not Less Muscle Butter
Muscle Butter Lite keeps the same Kombo-centered, massage-focused purpose of original Muscle Butter while leaving out its lavender, cedarwood, and jasmine essential oils.
The rich texture remains. The Kombo butter remains. The smooth, massage-friendly botanical base remains. The focus on sore muscles and hardworking joints remains.
What changes is the aromatic experience.
Because Kombo butter and the other botanical ingredients naturally have aromas of their own, Muscle Butter Lite still has a subtle natural scent.
There is:
No lavender essential oil.
No cedarwood essential oil.
No jasmine essential oil.
Nothing has been added to replace them.
Same purpose. Different formulation.
