Because Growing Bodies Work Hard
Some kids spend Saturday morning on a soccer field. Others climb at the playground, dance, swim, tumble, skate, hike, or ride bikes. And some kids work their muscles through physical therapy, adaptive movement, and everyday activities that ask their bodies to work a little differently.
Every one of those bodies is doing real work.
Little Muscles was created for them.
Warm the butter between your hands and massage into hardworking muscles and joints after sports, play, physical therapy, movement, or as part of a regular body care routine.
Because caring for little muscles is about caring for the bodies that carry our kids through each day.
Made for Every Kind of Movement
Little Muscles is made to care for hardworking muscles, active joints, and growing bodies through comforting massage and everyday body care.
The Young Athlete
Practices, games, meets, lessons, tournaments, and training can ask a lot of growing bodies. Little Muscles is perfect for massaging hardworking muscles and joints after activity, as the body transitions from movement to rest.
The Kid Who Never Stops Playing
Not every active child wears a uniform. Running, climbing, jumping, biking, building, dancing, and chasing friends all keep little bodies moving. Little Muscles brings a little extra care to hardworking muscles and joints after a full day of play.
The Child Who Moves Differently
Every child’s movement looks different. Some children work harder to move, use braces, walkers, wheelchairs, or other adaptive equipment, or engage their muscles through physical therapy and assisted movement. Little Muscles can be massaged into hardworking muscles and joints as part of their everyday body care and movement routine.
After the Game. After the Playground. After a Big Day.
Little Muscles fits naturally into the moment when activity ends. After practice, a game, adaptive sports, physical therapy, outdoor play, or simply a busy day.
Warm a small amount between your palms.
Massage into hardworking muscles and joints.
Take a moment to care for the little body that did all that work.
Sometimes body care can be that simple.
Kombo Butter: The Heart of Little Muscles
Kombo butter is the ingredient at the heart of Little Muscles and our original Muscle Butter. Derived from the seeds of the Pycnanthus angolensis tree, native to West and Central Africa, Kombo butter has a long history of traditional use in body care and massage.
We blend Kombo butter with nourishing plant butters and lightweight oils to create a rich, smooth texture that warms between the hands and glides easily across the skin.
It’s what makes Little Muscles more than an everyday body butter. It was created for massage and intentional care of the hardworking muscles and joints that carry kids through sports, play, physical therapy, movement, and everyday life.
Why Massage?
Massage is about more than applying a product.
Warm hands and slow, gentle movement create an opportunity to pause, pay attention to the body, and give hardworking muscles and joints a little extra care.
After sports, play, physical therapy, adaptive movement, or simply a big day, massage can become a comforting part of the transition from movement to rest.
Little Muscles was created for those moments. A simple body care ritual that encourages kids, parents, and caregivers to slow down, check in, and care for the growing body that did all that work.
No Essential Oils. On Purpose.
Original Muscle Butter includes lavender, cedarwood, and jasmine essential oils.
Little Muscles doesn’t.
We created Little Muscles without essential oils for a simpler approach to body care, made especially with kids in mind.
That leaves seven purposeful ingredients:
Shea Butter, Kombo Butter, Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter, Jojoba Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Vitamin E
Because these ingredients have their own natural aromas, Little Muscles may have a subtle scent, particularly from the Kombo butter.
Nothing has been added simply to make it smell a certain way.
